ONE of Worcestershire's prettiest and most intimate summer fetes enjoyed large crowds and warm sunshine.
Great Comberton Flower Show is in its 69th year, and judging by today's turnout looks as popular as ever.
There was a dog show, plank races, classic car display, punch and judy show, beer tent, afternoon teas, and a fabulous selection of stalls including a coconut shy, tombola and white elephant.
But the centrepiece, as always, was the marquee packed with a range of fruit, vegetables, flowers, wine, cookery and preserves classes, local crafts, photographs, limericks, and floral art.
It was an English country show at its best, and its organisers deserve praise for putting on such a fabulous event.
The show is set in Brailles Orchard with the village church and Bredon Hill as a backdrop, and it looked gorgeous in the afternoon's warm August sunshine.
