Police search for man suspected of firearms offences in Malvern
A POLICE helicopter was called in to search for a man suspected of firearms offences in Malvern in the early hours of this morning.
The National Police Air Service helped West Mercia Police search for the man in the Great Malvern area at around 1am this morning.
The man was located by officers and detained.
The incident related to a dispute at an address in Storridge at 12.25am. Police were called following initial reports of a gun being fired, but after attending, police confirmed no firearms had been involved and said there was no risk to the general public.
