A PEDESTRIAN hit by a car in Kidderminster has died in hospital as police seek witnesses.
Yvonne Whelan, aged 71, was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham but died on Sunday (August 2).
At 11am on Wednesday, July 29, she was in collision with a red Audi A3 near to Hire It in Worcester Road, Kidderminster.
Officers visited the location yesterday (Wednesday) and have been speaking to motorists, in an attempt to identify any further witnesses.
Police are still keen to trace and speak to the occupants of a people carrier type vehicle, who may have seen Mr and Mrs Whelan crossing the road.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or has any relevant information and has not yet spoken to officers, is asked to please contact the Road Policing Unit on 101, quoting ref 164S 290715.
