WEST Mercia Police are attempting to trace a man wanted in connection with a serious assault and burglary in Worcester.
A man entered a property in the Gorse Hill area of Worcester, and punched a woman several times.
The victim, who is in her twenties and known to the suspect, sustained serious injuries and required hospital treatment.
After attacking her, the suspect then placed several items in a suitcase, before making off on foot with them.
He is described as being a white man, in his mid twenties, with brown eyes and black cropped hair. He was last seen wearing a dark grey woolly beanie hat, a grey t-shirt and jeans.
He was carrying a guitar case and a carrier bag.
The incident happened around 12pm today (Monday, July 13).
Anyone with information into the attack is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 210 of 13th July.
