ONE of Worcestershire’s most senior health bosses has been elected to a national organisation representing interests of clinical commissioning groups across the country.
Chairman of NHS South Worcestershire Clinical Commissioning Group Dr Anthony Kelly has been elected to represent the West Midlands on NHS Clinical Commissioners.
Speaking at the CCG’s monthly meeting on Thursday, July 9, chief clinical officer Dr Carl Ellson welcomed the announcement, saying: “This is good for the CCG as it raises our profile nationally”.
The independent body works to support the work of CCGs across the country and help them provide the best possible healthcare for patients and communities.
