MALVERN Emma Goldby curate has just been ordained a priest for Holy Trinity Church at Link Top and St James, West Malvern.
She was one of 12 candidates who were ordained by the Bishop of Worcester, John Inge, during a service at Worcester Cathedral.
She said: “Last year I had a sense of stepping out into the unknown at the beginning of my curacy. It was an intense time of change from living in a community at Ripon College Cuddesdon to living alone in a house. However, I quickly felt at home in Malvern due to the wonderful warm welcome and support I have received.
"Now, I have a great sense of being formed not only by living in the new communities I am part of, but also by the love of God and trusting in Him. It has been a real privilege to be alongside people and be a part of their lives."
