WORCESTERSHIRE people will be spoilt for choice when it comes visiting gardens under the fund-raising National Gardens Scheme, this July.
The scheme raises funds for various charities including Macmillan Nursing and Marie Curie.
On Thursday, July 2, Red House Farm, Flying Horse Lane, Bradley Green Nr Redditch will be open, and on July 4 and the following day, the gardens of Harvington Hall near Kidderminster will welcome visitors, from 11.30am to 4pm.
Harvington is described as a "romantic Elizabethan moated manor house with island gardens and small Elizabethan-style herb garden, all tended by volunteers".
On Sunday July 5, Highfield Cottage Kings Green Wichenford will be open from 2pm to 6pm, and on the same day, Spetchley Park near Worcester will be open from 11am to- 6 pm.
Also on Sunday, July 4, a total of 13 gardens in Wick near Pershore will be open, from 1.30pm to 6pm.
