New mower for council
MALVERN Town Council is to buy a new mower at a cost of £10,616.48.
The decisions was made by the council's operations committee, which heard that the existing mower was coming to the end of its life.
Operations manager Charles Porter said the new mower, a John Deere X750, was chosen because it was compatible with the council's existing grass-collecting system.
He had obtained three bids, of which the chosen one was the lowest.
