AN inquest has opened in to the death of a Worcester man who was found dead on the railway track at Great Malvern.
Stewart Akins, from Nibley Close, Warndon, Worcester, was found dead on the line on May 26. The inquest into the 52-year-old’s death will be held on October 8.
The death is being investigated by the British Transport Police, which has jurisdiction over the railways, after it was found that Mr Akins had been held in police custody over the previous weekend.
