UPTON in Bloom has donated four planters to the town's school pupils.
Students of Upton Primary School will use the planters to sow plants and flowers in the pots, which will go towards the school's entry for RHS Heart of England in Bloom.
The school is judged as part of The Upton entry and is also judged on its own merit. It is now running a competition which sees children create a recycled planter, which will also form part of the school's entry.
Tracy Hall, of the Friends of Upton Primary School, said: "We are very fortunate that we have such close links with the local community and are extremely grateful for the donation that has been made to the children of the school to learn about Gardening, plants and enhance our ethos of working together as part of a team."
