A COMPOSER'S Life is the subject of a talk at Malvern Book Co-operative tomorrow by Worcestershire-based musician Ian King.
Mr King's work ranges from serious classical choral works to foot-tapping tunes for his band Kings and Folk.
In 2011 Ian was commissioned to write A Worcestershire Song Cycle for the Three Choirs Festival. This 40 minute chamber work was the first ever commission by the festival to combine both classical and folk genres.
At the bookshop in St Ann's Road, Mr King will talk about his music and his life as a composer and will play some music accompanied by his wife Claire McDonald.
The evening is at 7.30pm and admission is £5, including refreshments.
