A MOTORCYCLIST was killed in a crash in Henley-in-Arden, near Redditch, yesterday afternoon.

An air ambulance was called to the scene of the crash involving a car and a motorcycle in Birmingham Road at about 5.30pm.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The motorcyclist, a man, was in cardiac arrest and passers-by were performing CPR on him.

“Ambulance staff and the medic continued resuscitation but sadly, despite their best efforts, nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
