A RANGE of fun activities will be held at Croome Park near Pershore this half term holiday.

Youngsters can try their hands at becoming a nature detective, following clues to hunt for animals around the National Trust parkland, with a prize at the end.

The site will also launch the National Trust’s 50 Things To Do Before You’re 11¾ scheme, encouraging young people to try out a range of outdoor activities while collecting a series of stickers.

Other events during the week include an insect and bug day on Saturday, May 23 and a bird show on Sunday, May 24 as well as bushcraft activities on Bank Holiday Monday, May 25.

Events officer at Croome Becky Wilks said there was a lot for families to get involved with during the holidays.

“Our outdoor trails are always so popular as families love getting out and about in the parkland”

“As well as the explorer trail, children can collect their 50 Things stickers by joining our bushcraft activities where they can make a den and use a compass, see birds of prey displays and get a chance to hold a creepy crawly during our special 50 Things launch weekend.

“We’ll be giving out free 50 Things scrapbooks for kids to put the stickers into as well.”
