WORKMEN have accidentally cut through a pipe, causing a gas leak in Malvern.
The incident took place in a footpath on Wells Road at 8.27am.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Malvern attended the scene to ensure members of the public were safe.
National Grid teams are currently on site and working to isolate the gas supply and mend the broken 40mm main gas pipe.
A spokesman for National Grid said: "The work should be completed today.
"It is not causing any problems to gas supply in the area and there have been no road closures."
