IT is the competition that will send chocolate addicts crazy this Easter.

A 9st Easter egg, which has been donated by Cadbury, is being raffled by the Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.

The epic egg has been labelled a “dream come true” for chocolate lovers – but you have to be in it to win it.

Raffle tickets cost £2 each and the winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 31.

Elizabeth Pettersen, of the Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust, said: “With its sheer size the prize is a little bit of a dream come true for chocolate lovers.

“Whoever wins will have a huge amount of chocolate coming their way and we hope the public get behind the fundraising raffle and buy tickets.”

Members of the public can enter the raffle at Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust charity shops across the county, including stores in Bridge Street in Evesham, Barnards Green in Malvern, St John's in Worcester or from the charity’s headquarters in College Green, Worcester.

The aim of the Daisychain Benevolent Fund Trust is “the relief of sickness and preservation of health for children and young adults in the community by supporting local organisations”, according to its website.
