A RADIO DJ who started his career in Worcester has been charged with nine sex offences involving six victims, three of whom were allegedly juveniles at the time.

News of the charges against Neil Fox, aged 53, was confirmed by Scotland Yard this afternoon (Monday 23) and he will appear before magistrates on April 16.

Lawyers for Fox said he "categorically denies each and every allegation that has been made against him".

He is alleged to have carried out three indecent assaults on two girls under the age of 16 and one girl under the age of 14 between 1991 and 1996.

He is also charged with four indecent assaults on a girl over the age of 16 and two sexual assaults on women between 2003 and 2014.

Fox was taken on by Wyvern FM in 1984 after a competition in the Worcester Evening News.
