A FLOWER show in Worcestershire celebrated its 30th anniversary in style, proving popular with green-fingered growers and members of the public.
The Hallow Horticultural Society’s spring show took place on Saturday (March 14) featuring almost 100 floral exhibits in a range of categories.
Prizes were awarded for the best displays while a raffle and cake sales helped raised about £130 for the society.
Anne Stark, show secretary, said: “The fact people are still entering the competition after 30 years of the show illustrates that it is a popular activity.
“Most of our members contributed to the day, as did a lot of other people.
“There were quite a lot of prizes up for grabs and we had a lot of visitors on the day.”
The majority of floral exhibits included daffodils but other spring flowers were also on show, while a display by children from Hallow C of E Primary School was available to view.
Prize winners in each category were selected by Royal Horticultural Society approved judges.
