THIS month sees the second anniversary of curious reported haunting, or time-slip, at the Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove.
The incident, according to the Paranormal Database web site, took place on March 31 in 2013, an unusually precise date for a haunting.
A visitor allegedly saw a boy standing by a fireplace in the Merchant's House.
The child appeared to be no more thirteen, so the story goes, with shoulder length wavy hair, a red tunic and a brown leather belt around his waist.
When the curious visitor approached the boy, he vanished, as ghosts do.
The Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings is an open-air museum of rescued buildings which have been relocated to its site in Stoke Heath, Bromsgrove.
Some paranormal investigators believe that ghosts can attach themselves to an object which, in this case, appears to have been an entire reconstructed building.
