A RADIO DJ who kick-started his career in Worcester has been arrested by the Metropolitan Police over an allegation that he sexually assaulted a woman in the early 1990s.
DJ Neil Fox had already been arrested twice over suspected sexual offences (in September and December last year).
He was taken on by Wyvern FM in 1984 after a competition in the Worcester Evening News.
The latest arrest comes as the 53-year-old Magic presenter and former Pop Idol judge, known as Dr Fox, voluntarily attended a central London police station to answer bail.
The DJ had been arrested and bailed on September 30 last year following four allegations of sexual assault against two women and again in December on suspicion of assaulting three more women.
Fox lived in Britannia Square, Worcester in the mid-1980s when he was working for Wyvern.
Two of the allegations are said to have happened in the 1990s, while the third is said to have occurred in 2007.
He has been further bailed to return on a date in late March, pending further inquiries
