BUDDING actors, dancers and artists are being encouraged to unleash their creative side by taking part in Worcestershire County Council's arts service activities.

Called Chipp Shop, culture and heritage in partnership with personalisation, the project is particularly aimed at adults who access social care, including people with physical and learning difficulties and older people.

The two-hour sessions begin in Bromsgrove next month and similar sessions are being run in Kidderminster and Evesham.

People taking part also have the chance to meet others in a safe, fun setting whilst learning and taking part in this project.

The sessions, run by an arts professional, Emma Ford, take place weekly every Friday from March 6 to May 1 from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Amphlett Hall, Crown Close, Bromsgrove.

Cllr Lucy Hodgson, cabinet member for localism and communities, said: "We are committed to providing cultural opportunities for everyone in Worcestershire. These sessions will allow us to showcase a range of activities for everyone in the county especially those who are in receipt of social care budgets."

Each session costs £6 per person and there will be no session on Good Friday, April 3.
