Wychavon District Council is inviting young people to enjoy "Twisted Tales" in the half-term holidays.

The music and drama workshop is promising a "creative kink" and it is designed for young people aged from twelve to eighteen.

Jenny Davis, Arts Development Officer at Wychavon, said: “I am delighted that this workshop is happening, especially as it is being run totally by the young people. It’s great that we can give young people the opportunity to lead on projects as it gives them essential experience and creative ideas that will be great for their career later on.”

The venue will be the Number 8 Arts Centre in Pershore, and the participants will be working with director Rob Watts to create a piece of theatre based on traditional folk tales, with a twist.

The event will take place on Tuesday 17 February from 10am to 4pm and no experience in music or drama is necessary.

The cost of the workshop is £5 . Further information is available from - education@number8.org and on 01386 565396.
