A WOMAN'S vision of creating an arts and crafts community workshop which is fully accessible for disabled people needs help getting off the ground.
Dawn Johnson, of Drake Avenue, Dines Green, Worcester, hopes to get Dawncraft up and running as soon as possible at 31 Comer Road, St John's.
But the 52-year-old needs help to transform the former newsagent's into the workshop and is hoping people could spare time, materials or tools to help.
Mrs Johnson, who has fibromyalgia, said: "I am a mobility scooter user and I find it a challenge to get into the city centre.
"I don't think there's anything like this on this side of the river which is why I decided to set the workshop up.
"I want to make art accessible for people with disabilities."
She said the aim was to eventually gain charity status but the workshop would initially be set up as a social enterprise.
Mrs Johnson also hopes to get local artists involved in Dawncraft and has been using materials collected from Worcestershire Resource Exchange to help transform the workshop.
Anyone who can offer help should see Mrs Johnson at Dawncraft, 31 Comer Road, St John's.
