POLICE are appealing for help to find a 16-year-old girl from Shrewsbury who has not been seen since yesterday afternoon.
Rebecca Strang from the Astley area of the town was last seen in Telford town centre at 4.30pm yesterday and is now believed to be in the Manchester area.
She is described as white, 5ft 5in tall, of slim build with very long black hair and brown eyes.
Rebecca has connections with various areas of Greater Manchester including Dukinfield, Werneth, Oldham, Denton, Hattersley, Stretford and Moss Side as well as Newcastle-Under-Lyme in Staffordshire.
She is believed to have been wearing a short black parka jacket with a grey hood, a fawn and red coloured staff with a fawn top underneath and blue ripped skinny jeans with black shoes.
She has a nose piercing and a strong Manchester accent and was also carrying a brown shoulder bag when she was last seen.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare and are asking anyone who may have seen her to contact them on 101.
