THE third in the series of the increasingly popular Ale House Talks, The Arctic Canoe Race, is being held on November 12, Elizabeth Young talks about her adventures canoeing through the Arctic.
Elizabeth joined 100 plus international competitors to complete this gruelling 312 mile race along Europe's longest, unbound river route. Passing through narrow rapids on to smooth water, then onward to the large rapids of the Torne River. Elizabeth shares her unforgettable experiences and tremendous achievement in this beautiful northern tip of Scandinavia.
The talk starts at 7.30pm at the Ale House, Mill Lane, Colwall. Tickets are available at £5 from John Goodwin, Colwall.
