THE history of Barnards Green and how it developed is the subject of the next Malvern Museum talk on Friday, September 26.
Researchers Faith Renger and Catherine Banks will disclose how they used house deeds, old maps and wills to find out how today's Barnards Green developed.
Their researches uncovered the demise of a farming family, the brinksmanship of a wealthy land agent and the scruples of an aspiring land developer.
The talk is at 7.30pm in Christchurch Hall, Avenue Road. Museum members are admitted free and visitors pay £2.
