HOLISTIC health practitioners from across Malvern and beyond will be converging on the town tomorrow (Saturday, September 13) .

The second annual Malvern Holistic Health Day aims to build on last year's inaugural event, which organisers say was a great success.

This year's event will feature a wide range of therapies from acupuncture to yoga in the hall at Dyson Perrins school, from 10am to 4pm.

Massage therapist Simon Vivian, one of the organising team, said: "Last year, we had a fantastic day with 30 stands booked by local therapists and therapy centres, representing over 70 therapists.

"We had several hundred members of the public attending who were able to experience for themselves the various therapies on offer and learn how these therapies can help them.

"I was so busy in the afternoon that I didn't get to have tea and sample the lovely cakes that the Bluebird Tea Rooms were serving. We held a raffle for WaterAid which raised £161 - well done all."

This year's event will raise money for St Richards Hospice, said Mr Vivian. "St Richards are well known for providing a range of complementary therapies to patients at the hospice and in the community. We will be fund raising on the day with some great prizes," he said.
