THE amazing aerobatic display of stunt pilot Richard 'The Baron' Goodwin will be among the high points of the Alfrick and Lulsley Show on Saturday, September 6.

The show is now in its 63rd year and organisers say it combines the best of the traditional country show with modern attractions.

Opening the show at 12.30pm is Dave Bradley of BBC Hereford and Worcester and among the star attractions will be a the Big Top children’s circus workshop, the Rock Face climbing wall, for those with a head for heights, and the Paws For Thought dog display team.

The Falconry Centre will be displaying some of its spectacular birds of prey, and there will also be a show of zumba dance and fitness and Caribbean-style music from the Boilup steel band.

There will also be a horticultural marquee, dog show with pedigree and novelty classes, and a huge variety of stalls, games and raffles, plus a pig roast, barbecue and licensed bar .

Show chairman Bridget Lewis said: "“It is with both sadness and pride that I have announced that this is my last year as chairman.

“Over the past 12 years it has been an amazing experience and I would like to say a personal thank-you to all who have supported our show.

“Please come and say hello during the afternoon and tell me your experiences and memories of the show.

“We really try to make each year different, and this is no exception with a climbing wall, an amazing children's big top and even some Caribbean music. It will be a great day out for everyone.

“We welcome back Dave Bradley as our compere. He loved the show so much he is back for more.

“Even if you have been to the show before, you will find new stalls and events. We try to keep it traditional but new and exciting as well."

Can an editor add where the show is going to be held (unless I've missed it somewhere)?
