SUNRISE on Midsummer's Day always attracts early-rising walkers to the Malvern Hills and this year was no exception, with clear weather tempting many to scale the ridge.
And Malvern Gazette readers David Lawrence and David Thomas recorded the solstice with their cameras and are happy to share the results with us.
Mr Lawrence chose the flank of the Worcestershire Beacon for his picture, with the sun just rising above the horizon in the east.
And Mr Thomas went - appropriately enough - to Midsummer Hill towards the southern end of the Malverns range, where he took this atmospheric shot of the assembled sunrise watchers silhouetted against the dawn sky.
