THE next public meeting of the Colwall Village Society will be on Monday, April 28 in the Colwall Village Hall at 7.30 p.m.
The short initial part of the meeting will comprise the AGM of the Society.
Afterwards, there will be a talk by Professor Richard (Dick) Bryant entitled; The Ice Age in Colwall.
The effects of the Ice Age on Colwall and the immediately surrounding area have been more profound than many people would perhaps imagine. This talk will take a pictorial perambulation around the parish and look at the legacy left on the landscape by glacial ice, permafrost and giant rivers, all of which have visited us within the last half a million years.
All are welcome. Non-members entrance fee £2. Tea and coffee will be served before the meeting."
