TONIGHT, Friday April 25, at Bosbury Parish hall, , Flicks in the Sticks are screening Philomena (12A) starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available. Entrance is £4.50 for adults and £2.50 for children. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 26, Bosbury’s regular Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be held, between 10.30am and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. All the regular suppliers will be there offering lamb, pork and beef, seasonal vegetables, eggs, homemade preserves and cakes. In addition three new stalls – Three Counties Liqueurs, Monkland Cheese, Feathered Friends Bird Nuts - have recently been welcomed. Fairtrade groceries and gifts, Phoenix cards and individual craft cards will also be on sale. It’s an ideal venue to shop and enjoy coffee with friends and neighbours. Entry is free. Fairtrade coffee or tea, with a biscuit is £1. The proceeds are in aid of Holy Trinity Church and provide a small monthly income to supplement other fundraising.

On Sunday, April 27, Evensong will be held at 6.30pm at Holy Trinity Church Bosbury. All are welcome.

The next meeting of Bosbury and Coddington Parish Council will be on Thursday, May 1 at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall. Members of the public are welcome to attend. The Meeting Agenda will be on the Council Notice Board outside the Hall from Monday, April 28.

On Bank Holiday Monday, May 5, do come along to enjoy a Bluebell Walk from 2pm to 5pm in the grounds of Bosbury House, by kind permission of Nat and Laura Hone. There will be afternoon teas with delicious home-baked cakes, a raffle, a treasure hunt, a plant stall, a Classic Car display and live music. Admission will be £5 for adults, accompanied children under 16 free. All proceeds will go to Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury and the Parish Hall.
