A WORCESTERSHIRE housing organisation has been named one of the best places in the country to work.
Festival Housing, which has offices in Malvern and Droitwich, has been placed 35 in the ‘not for profit’ section of this year’s list of UK Best Companies.
The housing group, which employs 480 people, manages 9,000 homes across the county and Herefordshire.
A team from the firm travelled to London to pick up the award during a lavish ceremony.
“This is a fantastic achievement for Festival and even more so as it’s the staff who have filled in the questionnaire to put us in this position," said Festival's director of homes and communities, Clare Huyton.
“We have always put people at the heart of everything we do and our employees are no exception - we provide a health care scheme, promote flexible working and offer great training opportunities.
“The high level of satisfaction is reflected in our low turnover of staff and this benefits our tenants who have a committed, passionate team of people working on their behalf.”
The rankings are decided by the results of employee surveys.
