NEW and rising comedy acts will have the chance to try out material and hone their skills in front of a live audience.
Raw Comedy returns to the Evesham Arts Centre on Thursday, March 6 with six fresh comedians, who will all have 10 t o15 minutes to raise a laugh from the crowd.
There will be rambling Jimbo Beaumont, the deadpan Patrick Draper from Nottingham, the 20-stone and 60-year-old Richard Jay, softly spoken and likeably eccentric Alex Hoyle, quirky and engaging Becky Brunning and Bristol-based postie Martin Pilgrim.
Master of ceremonies for the evening will be Jonny Greatrex.
The show starts at 8pm and tickets are £4 (concessions £3) in advance or £5 on the door.
