The students also handed out chilli plants paper flowers to mark Valentines Day as as a symbol of their love for the planet.

Sammy Smith of Henwick Road, St John's, Worcester, said: "It is all about raising awareness of climate change."

Sarah Blackwell, also of Henwick Road, said: "We all picked the module because we care about the environment and we want to prevent climate change as well."

They also raised money for Save the Children with a cake sale and a raffle, raising £50.
