A man has been rescued by firefighters after getting stuck in mud.
A passerby called Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue service after spotting the man, said to be middle aged, stuck in the middle of an open field off the A38 at Sandford, near Kempsey just after 9am this morning (Thursday).
A crew with a fire engine and a swift water rescue team and boat was sent from Worcester along with another first responder team from Upton and a fire officer.
The man, who was unhurt, was rescued from the field with the help of inflatable platforms and crews left the scene just before 10am.
