POLICE have issued a CCTV image of two people they want to contact about a bike theft at Great Malvern railway station.
The victim, a 15-year-old from the town, secured his blue-and-white Apollo mountain bike to the cycle racks at the station at about 6pm on Tuesday, September 10. It had been stolen when he returned the next day.
PC Carol Dade, of British Transport Police, said: “We are undertaking plain-clothes and high-profile operations to catch thieves in the act.
“We are also working closely with cycle and second-hand shops in the area and are monitoring online auction to make it more difficult for thieves.”
Anyone with information is urged to call 0800 405040 or text 61016, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
