PAST and present members of the 1st Malvern Company Boys' Brigade will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of its re-formation next weekend.

The company was re-established in 1988 after an absence of 50 years from the town.

Officers and friends of the company will hold a dinner to mark the occasion on Saturday, May 18, and then hold a church parade the following day at Malvern Baptist Church in Abbey Road.

The brigade will be joined on the parade by members of the 7th Malvern Girls' Brigade. They will parade with their bands from Belle Vue Terrace via Church Street and Grange Road to Abbey Road.

The parade will form up at 10.20am outside the post office and march off at 10.35am.

On Saturday, June 22, the company will hold its annual display and presentations at Dyson Perrins Sports Academy, Yates Hay Road, starting at 6pm.
