OPEN auditions for the Malvern Theatre Player's next production, Big George and the Winter King, will be held at the Coach House Theatre, Grange Road this month.
Young people, aged 10-17, are invited to audition from 2pm on Sunday, September 10, and adults on Tuesday, September 14, at 7.30pm.
The show is a dramatisation of the latest in a series of children's books by local author Eric Pringle and has been especially written for Malvern Theatre Players.
The plot follows Big George, a huge and hairy giant from another planet, who crash lands in a village on the Welsh border where he joins Hew, Bess and many other colourful characters in their struggle against the greedy sourcerer Sneck.
There are a number of principal and supporting roles, most of which require an ability to sing.
