A CROWD of fundraisers gathered to enjoy a charity clay pigeon shoot which raised more than £60,000 for two worthy causes.

Estate agency director Andrew Grant organised the event with Bea Grant and Georgina Britten-Long, in aid of St Richard's Hospice and Child Bereavement UK.

The shoot was held at Bransford Manor and was attended by 120 shooters and 30 guests, including actress and model Cressida Bonas.

Mr Grant said: "I feel absolutely great. The nice thing about it is it is sponsored by business people in Worcestershire."

A host of businesses sponsored the event, including Luke Johnson of Pizza Express who provided lunch for the guests.

There was a silent auction and auction, in which guests could bid for lots including a trip to Namibia or a box at Worcester Rugby Club.

The shoot itself was arranged by Alan Bewlay, of the Throckmorton Gun Club, and his team.
