A BRASS band concert will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Malvern.

Arrow Valley Brass are set to return to Malvern for the concert on Saturday, October 15, at 7.30pm.

The band, based in Inkberrow near Worcester, will play a variety of music including many popular numbers.

Upton soloist Jayne Swann will also perform on the night, singing a mix of songs from the stage and screen.

Charles Pavey, director of music at Holy Trinity, said: "Both Arrow Valley Brass Band and Jayne Swann performed here two years ago. Building on the success of that concert, it is a real treat to bring these performers together again.

"The band’s sound - whether soft and sensitive or bold and invigorating - is very appealing and will contrast with the captivating charm of the soloist."

Tickets are available from Burley's Hairdressers in Great Malvern or from the Vicar at Holy Trinity in North Malvern Road.
