THE finest local produce from the Malvern Hills District will be on sale again when the Malvern Farmers’ Market returns.
The regular market, supported by Malvern Hills District Council will be open from 9am until 2pm along Abbey Road, Malvern on Saturday, September 17.
Stalls will be selling an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish, bread, cakes, preserves and much more.
Cllr Phil Grove, leader of the council, said: “These markets are an excellent way for local growers and farmers to sell their goods direct to the public, and for people to speak to producers first hand. It’s always a great day with a friendly service and crowd.”
The market was founded in 2000 to support the growth and development of farmers' markets across Worcestershire. The group is a non-profit organisation run by farmers in partnership with local councils and market operators.
