A cyclist in his 70s has been taken to hospital following with a car in Colwall.
The man was involved in the collision in Walwyn Road, and has been taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a serious head injury.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “Crews responded to a collision between a cyclist and car in Colwall.
“A male cyclist in his seventies was treated for a serious head injury. The patient was immobilised using a neck collar and spinal board before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”
An ambulance, a paramedic officer, a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance team travelling in a car from Cosford attended the scene.
The crews attended the scene at around 10.35am this morning (Saturday, January 3)
