ABOUT thirty residents of the Arboretum area of Worcester had to spend the night in a hotel after a gas pipe caught fire.
Emergency service were called just before midnight yesterday (Friday) after a fire was spotted coming from a gas pipe under the street.
Houses along the street were evacuated and the residents put up in a local hotel.
The fire was not put out until about 7.30am today, and the residents have been allowed back home, but their houses currently have no water and gas supplies.
