The narrator of the video reveals the property has a well in the kitchen hidden by wooden floorboards, and is described as "one of the coolest features we found" when the couple first viewed the house.
The couple then proceeds to use a mug tied to a piece of string in an attempt to see how deep the well is, which is revealed to be 20 feet deep.
It was described as "really cool but really creepy" by the narrator, who then says that the couple wants to hopefully put lights and a glass top on the well to make it a feature of their property.
Many of the comments made humorous comparisons to the horror classic The Ring, which is a remake of a cult favourite Japanese horror film that features a creepy well.

This prompted the couple behind the account to make a clever follow-up video appearing to show the girl from The Ring climbing out of their own well.
The account has also gone on to post a magnet fishing video about the well in their kitchen, which amassed 44,800 likes and over 1.4 million views.
In the video, the couple pulled out nails, a horseshoe and a coin from the water in the well.
