A MAN was found dead in Parkfield Road, Stourbridge, yesterday morning (Thursday) - it has been confirmed.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances to the scene at around 9.30am but the man, in his 70s, was confirmed to have died.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We were called at 9.29am to reports of a patient in cardiac arrest in Parkfield Road. We sent two ambulances to the scene but the patient was confirmed dead at the scene."
Police were also alerted and a spokesman for West Midlands Police said: "His death is not being treated as suspicious and has been referred to the coroner."
The man has not been identified.
