WORCESTER Wolves have discovered their first round opponents for the British Basketball League's two cup competitions.
New franchise London City Royals will host Wolves at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in the BBL Cup.
The clash will take place on the last weekend of October although date and tip-off time have yet to be confirmed.
Victory for last season's finalists Wolves will see them visit London Lions, who received a bye into the quarter-finals, in November.
Meanwhile, the BBL Trophy has adopted a new bracket format for the 2018-19 season with the path to the final laid out in the first draw.
Wolves will travel to Glasgow Rocks in the opening round on December 21-23.
Team Basketball Wales, Team Solent Kestrels, St Mirren West College and Worthing Thunder are the four non-BBL sides taking part in this season's tournament.
The semi-finals will be played over two legs with the final to be held at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena on Sunday, March 10.
