WORCESTER Warriors' Cornell du Preez will be available for selection this weekend against Northampton Saints as he has been released from the Scotland squad for their crucial delayed Six Nations clash with France on Friday.
The fixture was postponed from the middle week of the tournament due to an outbreak of Covid within the French camp and has been re-arranged for Friday evening in Paris (8PM kick-off).
Due to the fixture being outside of the tournament window, Scotland Rugby and Premiership Rugby last week came to an agreement that English based players would be released to play for their country.
But Gregor Townsend's 29-man squad for the trip to France did not include the Worcester number eight and he will therefore be up for selection this Saturday against Saints (3pm kick-off).
