WORCESTER Warriors lock Graham Kitchener has recovered from an ankle injury and is set to feature for the first time this season in Friday night's Gallagher Premiership game with Harlequins.

The experienced ex-Leicester Tigers second-row was injured towards the end of last season with a stress fracture in his ankle and has been out ever since.

But the 31-year old is back in contention for the New Year's Day clash at Sixways on Friday, where Warriors will be looking to bounce back from their sobering defeat away at Northampton Saints last weekend.

Director of rugby Alan Solomons also confirmed that Matt Kvesic has recovered from the illness that saw him withdrawn from the squad to face Saints on Boxing Day.

There are no fresh injury concerns but also no other players returning in time for the crucial Premiership battle under the lights on Friday.
