WARRIORS have developed a system to help season ticket holders who may be left out of pocket by a premature end to this season.

In the event that the four remaining home games in the 2019/20 season are cancelled or ordered to be played behind closed doors because of the Coronavirus pandemic, the club has put in place a contingency plan for season ticket holders and match ticket purchasers to claim or donate a pro-rata refund.

A club spokesman said: "A decision on the matches against Gloucester, Harlequins, Bristol Bears and Saracens has yet to be made by Premiership Rugby but Warriors will provide supporters with three options to ensure that they are not out of pocket if the games cannot be rearranged and played in normal matchday conditions."

The three options are as follows:

• Option One: Support the club

Supporters will have the option to donate their refund amount to support the club going forward and help Warriors through a challenging period when our revenue streams have been badly affected by the Coronavirus lockdown.

• Option Two: 'On Account' balance

Supporters will be able to put their rebate 'On Account' and use that sum to purchase tickets or buy food, drink and merchandise when Sixways re-opens.

• Option Three: Pro-rata refund

Supporters will be entitled to a refund based on the remaining 2019-20 fixtures that fans are unable to attend. The reimbursement policy will only be applicable to matches that are cancelled or played behind closed doors.

The spokesman added that further details on how to claim a reimbursement will be given once a decision has been made about unplayed matches in the 2019/20 season.

Last week, Warriors announced the club would slash the price of season tickets for next season to help bring more people back to the game.

The club has cut the price of season tickets for 2020/21 with prices in all areas of Sixways reduced by 10 per cent, meaning prices are the cheapest they have been since the 2013/14 season.

Supporters who buy a 2020/21 season ticket will secure the same price for the 2021/22 season as part of the Loyal Warrior pricing policy.

A new half season ticket ranging from £22.50 for under 12s to £312 for a platinum half season ticket has been introduced for supporters which covers eight home matches and provides greater flexibility for those who might not be able to afford a full – 16 match – season ticket, which ranges from £50 to £695 depending on which level of ticket.

Season Ticket Holders have until July 15 to secure their seat for the season – a later deadline than normal – and can also spread the cost of their Season Ticket by using the club’s direct debit payment scheme.
