MICHAEL Fatialofa's wife reported "improved airflow through chest" and "strengthening movement in one leg" as the Warriors ace continues to recover in hospital.

It was a good day all round with Tatiana Fatialofa granted increased access to her husband's bedside after some "serious deliberation" yesterday (Wednesday).

In a post on Instagram, Tatiana revealed she had drawn comfort from having "a positive, balanced, healthy-minded husband who has been dreaming up so many beautiful plans for our future."

She declared the progress as "one step closer to 24 hours (a day accessibility), although that would be provided by a private centre so that's our next prayer because Michael needs to make progression in order to be able to move into such facilities".

It was followed by news of a "tough morning" today (Thursday) with a call to "pray for encouragement".

Fatialofa received spinal injuries while playing for Warriors at Saracens on Saturday.
