WARRIORS.

7 Pennell – was peerless under the high ball, played a part in Te’o’s try and somehow managed to stop Pincus from burrowing over from close range.

6 Howe – drafted into the starting line-up at late notice to replace Heem the potent finisher did not see a lot of the ball and missed some tackles.

6 Te’o – back from England duty, the powerful centre thundered forward on several occasions and got a try but put his side under pressure when he was sin-binned late on.

7 Mills – despite slipping off the odd Bristol player the captain led by example with his commitment in defence and tenacity at the breakdown.

6 Adams – his defensive error opened up aches of space for Morahan to sprint over but the Wales star replied with a stunning finish in the corner.

Lance – making his first start since October the fly-half lasted just three minutes before suffering a blow to his head. Fortunately for Warriors Weir was a superb replacement.

7 Hougaard – played with tempo and put in a massive shift defensively but was caught napping a couple of times when the ball squirmed loose from the scrum.

6 Black – struggled in the scrum at times as he was pinged far too often but his tackle count reached double figures and did not miss one.

6 Annett – suffered a double blow when his collapsing of a maul led to a sin-binning and a penalty try for Bristol but found his target at the lineout.

7 Schonert – gave Bristol’s looseheads a torrid time as he outmuscled Woolmore and Thomas, winning four scrum penalties.

8 Bresler – was Warriors’ top tackler, landing all 18 of his shots with many of them forcing Bristol’s attackers backwards.

7 Fatialofa – managed the lineout brilliantly once again and made some important tackles but was guilty of making sloppy errors too.

8 Hill – an immense all-round showing by the teenager who showed great strength to thunder over the try-line, carried hard and held firm in defence. My man of the match.

8 Lewis – was a real workhorse and got Warriors over the line as he put in a mighty hit on Thomas to dislodge the ball after Uren sprinted clear.

8 Mama – appears to relish playing against his former club as his desire to get over the ball earned three turnovers and put his side on the front foot with many carries.
